I won't humor you in brown townyzing each branch of religion.
Of course you won't. Thanks for showing the strength of your case.
Someone hasn't seen much of the middle east.

The war in Iraq and Afghanistan are partly a war on religion. The war in Libya is not on religion at all ( as far as I know)

Of course you won't. Thanks for showing the strength of your case.

I am not knowledgeable of Buddhism, I can not give you some strong perspective on it. Your argument so far has been "whats the harm" which is an ignorant approach that everyone expected from a religious type, so I wouldn't be talking.

Yeah, when those crazed Iraq bombers blow up temples its all about the politics.  :cookieMonster:

Done pretending to be Buddhist yet?

The blood in my veins appears to be coagulated and I cannot think or function properly right now, but keep in mind that Buddhism is one religion out of thousands. Not to mention that Buddhism is often considered more of a philosophy than a religion, or sometimes even just a form of meditation.

Either way, you have perfectly good workers dedicating their lives to a falsehood.

Ok guys, all wars have some religious background in it. Middle east, (9-11), WW11 (Riddler saying German race is being compromised because of juadism), Civil War (South thought slaves would no god by bringing them here to slavery.

ww11? damn. and that thing about slaves "would no god"... idk man, i cant figure out what youre saying.

And bhuddism is a philosophic "religion". It was made by a Hindu who saw that Hinduism made no sense and he longed for a meaning. So Bhuddism is NOT a religion.

Would know god, and WW11, ill put it in a way you will understand.... World War two.

Or WWII

sometimes even just a form of meditation.
I wouldn't simplify it that much myself, but I get what you're saying about it not being a typical theistic religion.

And guys, I don't know how you expect me to prove that I'm a Buddhist. I became a buddhist a few years back when I trained in Shaolin kungfu. Through that I was introduced to meditation, and buddhism. I meditate for an hour a day.

I've also got several buddhist books if that counts for anything  :cookieMonster:

You said it yourself, it's a philosophical religion. Just because it isn't theistic doesn't mean it isn't a religion. And it's Buddhism, not Bhuddism

meditating every day =/= being Buddhist
