you have to enable it for some odd reason

It's not there by default.

Wrench > Options > Toolbar > Show the home button > X

Also I can't open my options in a window, it's a new tab now.
Anyone know how to fix that?

Internet Explorer 9 is not ugly and I really like it. I still use chrome but it's much better than the previous versions.
