My school district, one, is old a forget and no one wants to vote for a levy to get a new school because they think that they will have to pay buckets of cash for it, and two, is biased as hell.
The administration is horrible. When you started school, you were in your home town. Then, depending on where you lived, you either moved on to another school (me) or stayed in your own for a few more grades. When I moved onto the next school and met all of the other kids, a few started to pick on me. I tried telling teachers, but they said "I didn't see it, what do you want me to do about it?"
One day, when we were about to change classes, i picked up a pencil from a stack of books to write something down for a friend. The kid who owned the books hated me, and then said "Hey, gimme my pencil back" I replied with " Hold on, i'll just be a sec." He then shoved me into the line of students ahead of me, knocking down me and my friend. This kid who shoved me was apparently the son of one of the administrators got off scot free and I got 2 days of detention for it.
And then later in the year, a kid made me snap. After being an starfish all year and the teachers not doing stuff about it, i tackled him. he went straight to the principal's office and told on me. I tried to explain to the principal that this kid's a richard, but when she asked him if it was true, he'd reply with "nope." She took his word for it and not mine, which was utterly stupid. I got suspended of a day, out of school. I do think I deserved punishment for tackling him, but not as harsh, considering he's a richard.
