Author Topic: Post your homescreen  (Read 2080 times)

Just search for apps on the Market. I forget which I have.

I use AndroSS, but it requires a rooted device.

Android 2.2 (themed like Gingerbread, can't see it on the homescreen though, thus the second screenshot)

I would jailbrake mine but It's a 32GB 3G :c

Lolwut

I have a 32GB iPod 3G and I jailbroke it. :o

I use a landline, so my homescreen must be a bunch of numbers.

so there's no real risk to jailbreaking my iphone 4, right? i can just back it up first, and then restore if i need to?

There's absolutely no risk.
If something goes wrong, you can always get into recovery mode and restore.

I've had my iPod Touch 2G jailbroken nearly ever since I've had it. I was jailbroken on 2.2.1 for over two years, and it worked just fine until I tried overclocking and it didn't work out very well. Then, I went to 4.0 and used that from August 2010 to a month ago, when I retired my iPod 'cuz I got a Droid 2 Global, which is infinitely better.

In rare cases people report that even recovery won't work. Its highly unlikely, but there is a tiny risk.

hmm i'll research a little this week. sounds like ill probably jailbreak though.

You should always be able to enter DFU/WTF mode, even if recovery's broken (though I've never heard of someone breaking their recovery, so that's weird)

It's worth it, trust me.

It is worth it. I jailbroke mine for the ability to make the home screen unique and to run the GBA emulator so I could run my favourite GBA games. c:

The 2G was too weak to even run a GBA emulator, it was saddening. :(

Darn. :C

GBA emulator + Pokemon = yey

bump for great justice.

Is there any system files I can remove safely? I remember Miga mentioning something about it.

Your wallpaper.

I like it.

Also, I'm not really sure why you'd want to remove system files unless they're causing problems for you.

Can you Jailbrake a version 4.3 now? (Forgot to mention that)
Or would I have to downgrade it.
You can, use Uhh, Redsn0w I believe, I can check it out further if you PM me, I have mine on 4.3.1 and jailbroken.
