4 AM EST I believe

forget THAT

oh wait my TV has a DVR

but my TV isn't working so..

forget THAT

Also, why the hell would I care about the culture and tradition of another country unless I am going there/interacting with a person from there? Why does everyone else (foreigners) care so much?
Oh boy, what an american thing to say. That one is going in my profile.

the thing i'm getting at is why anyone cares at all considering this effects NO ONE!

But this generation of kids is becoming more ignorant.

No one every said you had to care. The OP is English, he's just saying they're getting married, not that you have to watch it and you have to like it. It's also probably because of the fact your country does not have a king/queen, we grew up with this. I remember watching the marriage of the prince and princess of the Netherlands when I was younger. No, it's not my country, but why should I not care? If some terrorist blows up the White House, I shouldn't care either then.

And how exactly are kids getting more ignorant?

I really just don't give a damn about this wedding.

I'm a close minded individual for not constantly caring and obsessing when another country does a significant  tradition that is significant to that country and that country only?

This is assuming that a marriage between figure heads is more significant than an international terrorist organization disrupting both domestic and foreign government structure in a country.

Also, about kids getting more ignorant, most of them easily get their parents view bashed into there head, or they just don't give a forget about higher education.

Yes, very close minded.

You fit the american stereotype of "there are no important countries other than the US" perfectly

unfortunately that is like 1/3 of our population.

Most American Kids are, in my opinion, friends who can't think for themselves and just wear certain clothes or listen to certain music because "it's cool". I hate today's society, 1940s all the way.

friendry aside, what society doesn't follow social trends?

Holy forget, I care about other countries in foreign politics, interactions, trade, etc.. I just don't care about important cultural traditions of other countries, I know them and their significance to that country, but I really just don't care to witness them.

Seriously, I barely care about American traditions too. Its just my nature.

You're still close minded and uncultured, bub.

Everything nowadays makes me wanna live in the Medieval Times.

When i was at a laundromat with my brothers and my father, i heard on the TV which had NBC on, the woman on there was talking about the royal wedding, she was saying something about "all the king's horses and all the king's men" and my mind stopped listening and instantly thought "Humpty Dumpty fell again?"

Everything nowadays makes me wanna live in the Medieval Times.
Life wasn't as great back then as you obviously think it was. You watch too much tv.

Everything nowadays makes me wanna live in the Medieval Times.
I wanna get the Bubonic Plague too
