Author Topic: The Royal Wedding  (Read 17375 times)

I would watch it if I had someone to watch it with so I didn't seem strange, but I don't think any of my friends wants to/will watch a wedding early in the morning.

I could care less. They aren't even my country, so why should I? It will not affect my life in any way whatsoever.
You could care less?

So what you're saying is that you do actually care. If you can care less, you care atleast a little bit - or a lot. The one thing it rules out is that you don't care at all; which is exactly what you mean.

The saying you're looking for is "I couldn't care less". Silly yank

You really think the media's gonna shut up about them after the wedding's over?  :cookieMonster:

I hope so it's getting annoying they're over hyping a wedding that does not really make a difference in anything

there is no real 'royalty' since like medieval ages everyone knows that kings and queens are just figure heads and don't even have any role in the government all they do is sit there look pretty and get spoiled

I onloy care a very tiny bit because of the fact that its history. Other than that, I don't care.

Stop ruining our perfectly good english sayings

forget, i want to miss school. anyway i don't see how the royal wedding effects ANYONE AT ALL. the royal family has little to no power in politics and is nothing more than a figurehead to the English government. if two of America's many celebrities gets married we don't make a big.... oh wait.... forget humanity.

It's part of their culture and history. That alone is enough to justify all this.

Actually. The royal wedding is today where they live. Saw that on the news.

I am no royalist. In fact the royal family sometimes does seem kinda useless. But I so wanna watch just to see if anybody forgets up / makes a mistake / there is a major disruption.

This generation is getting more crappy, I swear.

I'm still trying to determine if this is an insult or not.

I don't get why everyone is against this because they have almost no power. It's not a matter of power, it's a matter of
culture and history.

Probably.

Probably.

But this generation of kids is becoming more ignorant.

Also, why the hell would I care about the culture and tradition of another country unless I am going there/interacting with a person from there? Why does everyone else (foreigners) care so much?

Also, I pretty much know the history of England during the modern age, so I'm not watching it for a history lesson.
