I have windows vista on this computer, and i don't know the path to download addons for gmod on it. any help?
(This doesn't have C:// or program files, it has system, and stuff like that.)

It's just different to me.

But it works wonderfully!
The above was fixed.

What?

On my vista computer I had C:// -> Program Files -> Steam -> Steamapps -> Username -> Gmod -> Gmod -> Addons

It should be for you, too.

Um, nop.

I have these as my paths
Desktop
Kenton (The person i got it from)
Public
Computer
Network
Control panel
Recycle bin

Either i'm not in the right spot or it's just different

Uh, hello?
(i know, early bump)

i plan on playing soon so i want to figure this out

What's in Computer? C:// should be in there.

computer > C: > program files or program files 86x > steam > steamapps > your username > garrysmod > garrysmod > addons

What's in Computer? C:// should be in there.
I'll check it out. Sec

Holy stuff i found it

Thank you, everybody who participated in helping me

Oh yeah, i have ooone more question.

Sometimes when i spawn things, some textures are gone, or the entire thing is black with no visible features. is this because of the fact that my adapter isn't plugged into the accelerator card yet? i dunno why.
Also, when it's black, i turn on my flashlight and it shows. but not all of it. could it be a lighting problem?

Also when i move around things sometimes they are white as well.

I'd say a problem with your graphics driver.

What is your GPU and your operating system?

hmmm...
So my graphics accelerator not being plugged into an adapter could be the cause? because i'm getting an adapter today, and i'm going to plug it in. other than that i'll look it up

Er.

I was talking about the graphics driver.  The driver is the software that allows your operating system to communicate properly with your graphics card, aka the graphics accelerator.

so that means i was right?

im pretty sure you type in something into the launch options and it fixes it
