Author Topic: Section 8: Prejudice - PS3 launch soon!  (Read 2850 times)

That sci-fi shooter where you drop down from a dropship to kill people.
I tried the trial version on my Xbox 360 and I wasn't at all disappointed. The multiplayer is fantastic, bringing elements that most first person shooters don't have.

About the Game

On the battlefield, prejudice takes many forms, knows no boundaries, and drives all conflict. In the distant future, humanity will call on its most fearless defenders to confront an emerging threat determined to eradicate all human life as we know it.
Section 8®: Prejudice™ is a sci-fi first-person shooter with dynamic combat, where every decision – from customizing equipment to activating team based objectives – drastically impacts the battlefield. (Shameless copy pasta from steam)

Key features:

Play as Alex Corde and discover the sinister series of betrayals that now threaten humanity's survival in the single player campaign.
Compete in various multiplayer modes with up to 40 players - from the extreme, strategic play of "Conquest" to the hordes of robust AI opponents in "Swarm".
Strategically spawn anywhere on the battlefield to assist allies or ambush enemies.
Customize loadout weapons, ammo, and equipment to suit your playstyle.
Call in deployables and vehicles when and where you need them to gain tactical advantages.
Master true mobility with dropping, overdrive, and jetpacks to outmaneuver opponents.
Complete a variety of Dynamic Combat Missions - from launching aerial strikes against fortified positions to securing crucial intel.
Advance in rank and skill to access a devastating arsenal of over 60 weapons, equipment, and upgrade variants.
 (also shameless copy pasta)

The game from what I've seen in the trial:

The training level focuses on what to do in the game, and the controls; not how to stay alive and such, so that didn't help much.
The multiplayer was exciting. Being deployed from a dropship (and using the force from the drop to kill enemies, vehicles, and turrets) was pretty fun, including the fact that you could choose where to drop from.
The pistols have quite some damage, but a low fire rate so it's not that overpowered.
The mech-robot-crusher thingamajig is quite powerful, but has only slightly more health than the average player.
Vehicles are fun.

Oh, and don't listen to IGN's video reviews, the guy is only bashing on the game and pays no attention to the multiplayer, doesn't know that the game is sci-fi and not a CoD clone, and is overall an idiot. Watch some gameplay videos of it.

No it isn't. It's the same thing.

Mine is organized and has pictures and details on the game from my perspective (from the trial).
Also, I might just be getting it, I have $26 dollars left, and the game is $15. However, I'll only be left with $11, and my bank will close the account if I have less than 25 dollars in it.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuu
EDIT: oh, and bump

No it isn't. It's the same thing.
Your thread is just a quote and a link. Not the same at all.
