The world consists of towns, which can form nations collectively. Individual towns and even entire nations can declare war and storm fortresses, all while fending off attackers & clashing over land & Zeny. (The in game currency)

While we have many plugins installed on the server to keep things fresh, we've still managed to keep a lot of the excitement and gameplay mechanics that have made Minecraft such a successful game. So vanilla players rejoice. You're going to love the additions we've made to our server. We have staff on 24/7 that are constantly available to deal with any problems that may arise, we hold our staff to strict standards to ensure the right decisions are always made. Mods are required to be on the server 2-4 hours per day (with one day of the week off) & are expected to keep constant logs of players whitelisted & problems that have occured in game. We pride ourselves in being thorough, and we hope that the amount of work we put in shows.
Individual towns are the safest place to be, as mobs don't spawn in towns & PvP is enabled only if the town mayor decides or the town is at war. But if you're feeling daring and looking for something a little more unique, head out to the wilderness and setup a home. But beware.. the wilderness is filled with mobs during the night and PvP is always enabled, so other players can kill you and steal your items (and vice versa!). There is also no block protection in the wilderness, and bandits love to raid homes in the wilderness. So hide yours well!
