Maybe I'm mistaken, but shouldn't this go in offtopic or something?

Anyways,
A good rock band to start with is AC/DC (duh). If you want something heavier or more oldschool, I would suggest trying Metallica, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden etc. Yeah, I know thats metal, but it's still cool.

If you're more into punk rock, you should probably try Greenday and that stuff. But I'm not the right guy to ask for that...
