There should be a SetZombieAttention event for a zombie mod. Preferably for ZAPT. It would be great to be able to set specific targets for the zombies...

So we could use this for an ending of a level where it will make all the zombies come to the players?

I have a mod that (I think is for Rot's) is called setzombietarget.
Want to have it?


It would be cool if zombies hear noises and sounds, so if they hear a weapon fiering or some glass breaking they will walk to that area, and if there are pleyers there, they would attack the players, so you need to be aware of where you shoot, what you shoot with or what you break.

silenced weapons would not attract zombies tho.
setzombeattention would make it so if glass breaks, but not if weapons shoot, i think.

would also be awesome of you talk something, the zombies can hear it, so if they are close enough to where you are and typing something in the chat, they can hear you and find you and eat you.

I know that event. It does not do this. I can't remember exactly what it did but it did not attract zombies.

I think it makes like small targets like in the tutorial just with a zombie picture textrue thingy on.

if so, i must have broken it with some mod.

Couldn't this be done with zones where when a player enters a zone brick which triggers an event in the zombie spawns where setbotaim--player and setbotmovement stuff occurs  There is your ending level zombie stuff

Seriously, is it a new fad already?

Having the zombies being able to be alerted though a sound would require modification to the base zombie mod. Not to mention, it prolly wouldn't work unless the guns you use are specifically coded to work with the mod. It would require its own weapon pack.

I also worry that this wont ever be done effectively, due to there being 2 main zombie mods ZAPT and L4B. Unless there's a way to have it work with both.. which I doubt.

Also wish for a way for the zombies to follow a person's tracks instead of going straight at them and in the process getting stuck on walls and such.
