I have a PS3 and its twice as better as an X-Box but i lost my PSN account when Verizon switched to frontier...I signed out and i couldnt get back in :/...So it doesnt bother me much...My friend whos a cigarette who
sits inside is almost crying when he hears PSN is down xD

For anyone who says that the only reason xbox was not hacked is because the werent after microsoft, is, in my opinion, COMPLETE bullstuff. People talk about how PSN is better because its free. Well look how far the not charging players got them with tehir antivirus software. Whereas Xbox, who charges money every month, has lots of money to spend, particularly on this type of software after this attack.

But thats just an opinion.

That's actually a good point. Sony may not have the money for hack protection like Microsoft does because they don't charge for console network access.

But Sony also has tons of other profits coming in, like profits from TV's and stuff like that. They do have enough money for it.

The PS3 isn't the only way to get money for Sony.

Actually hack protection for their consoles doesn't even cost that much to them. Think of someone rich like Bill Gates and then he lost like 20,000 dollars. If anything they are probably making a profit with charging online. Also it's much harder to risk hacking your console when you need to pay for live, then if they ban  it you lose your money.
