I mean the mass amount of netlag.  It makes movement feel really stiff.

yeah the rates were always weird in id Tech 4 multiplayer.

Well, I suppose that helped a lot on learning how to overlock. But at the mention of overheating, I pretty much stopped thinking of it as a choice. Mine already heats up very bad, so...

In any case, I could just get it for Xbox?
Is that a good choice, or should I try overlocking?

Are they going to be updating the game through Steam, like with TF2?

Yeah, they've already released 2 patches. 1 was a quickfix and the second added support for a higher resolution, scaling bot difficulty, FOV fixes, and some other stuff.

Bought it, played through camp with a friend in co-op, played MP and was pissed off of how bad it was. Same 3 OP weapons being used by everyone, Res NEVER wins (This is if both teams aren't handicaps). Not to mention how broken it is, network code was so fail its not even funny, 1 level cuts sound off. If they release a game this broken they clearly didn't test it enough. Level design was by some guy who thought it was a good idea to make spawn areas easily camp-able, like you literally can't leave the spawn room without dying. Going on that the objectives are always down a hallway which is once again easily camp-able and you can never get past, who designed these broke the most BASIC rule of level design. 1 door way is a dead end, 2 is a hallway, 3 gives the players options... and yet half the rooms are just hallways only some times with 2 levels which doesn't count AT ALL as a 3 door room.

Overall I say its a pretty stuff game and I was expecting better, big hype and yet once again due to fail developers they don't balance the game at all let alone have a half competent QA team.

Funny how one of the guys working on the maps originally made de_dust and de_dust2.

I know a game is bad when online Lags on an XBox360.  Brink is now a horrible game in my opinion.  It was good when I was doing singleplayer, but I just tried multiplayer.. eh..

Stop loving talking about people's avatars.
