CALDER NEWS BULLETIN
-An F-35 was shot down today by a mysterious SU-30 jet fighter painted in green and black camouflage, with no swastika or insignia. It was near the McDonnel air force base. The outdated SU-30 was shot down within 2 minutes by the F-35's wingman. The Calder Armed Forces is launching an investigation into who the jet belonged to.
The pilot safely ejected from his burning F-35. No pilot was seen bailing out of the split SU-30.
The wing-man, 25 year-old Micah Travenkev, said in an interview; "I was flying in formation with my flight leader, preparing for a war game [training excercise], when I saw a strange blip on my radar. I called this out to my flight leader, but then the strange aircraft tore into him with its cannon. He peeled away, with his engine spewing flames, and ejected. I quickly outran the fleeing aircraft and shot it with an AMRAAM [air-to air missile]. The aircraft, which looked like a Russian Sukhoi of some kind, broke in half when the missile impacted the wing root behind the canopy. I reported this back to base as I watched the headless [without a roosterpit] aircraft crash into a grove of trees."
