CALDER NEWS BULLETIN
Today at a military base in New Sparta a huge explosion occurred. A fire was reported in a hangar,which held about 6 F-35 JSF fighter planes. A few minutes later a loud blast was heard and a huge fireball was spotted rising over the shattered hangar. 4 firefighters have been reported as dead or missing, and 3 injured. The fire spread to nearby hangars, destroying more aircraft and causing more explosions, but at this point the area had been evacuated. Investigators are combing the charred wreckage to find the cause, but it is thought that it was a spark from electrical wiring that caused fuel vapors to ignite.
