In the recent time that my countries have been relatively silent, a few major things have happened. Firstly, the terrorist group found in Sarsland was dealt with, and no longer poses any threat to neighboring countries. If some lasting members are found in anyone's country, they have permission to use lethal force.
The countries have also done some research and testing with newly developed weapons.
Mid-ranged. Laser-designation system to aid in selecting targets. LED flashlight.
Short to mid-ranged. 1.5x "scope." Strangely oversized bayonet.
Long-ranged. 2-10x scope. LDS. Suppressor.
Mid to long-ranged. 4-6x scope. LED flashlight.
Time and money was also spent on creating explosives and other weapons that could safely be used in space, without requiring cleanup. Hopefully the world wont reach a state where any country would need to use these, but it is only a precaution.
