I was looking for weapons with iron sights for my TDM I was going to build today. I came across the old EMP rifle post. That gave me an idea.
EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse)
A gun (probably not a rifle) That stuns vehicles. There would be two versions, one that dismounted players and one without. When it hits the vehicle, it pushes the vehicle to the left or right, randomly. It would have a stun emitter around the vehicle, like in NFS Hot Pursuit. After you shoot a vehicle, it takes 5 seconds to lock on and does 25 damage, also like HP.
Spike Strip (Also known as a Stinger)
It would simply be an item that you can throw a distance. When it hits the ground a somewhat retangular strip with little spikes coming out of the top, about 16 blocks wide would appear. Any vehicle that runs over it would take 25 damage and be slowed down for 5 seconds. If possible the tire emitter would change to sparks for those 5 seconds. The strip itself would last 10 seconds on the ground before disapearing into nothingness.
Edit: Possibly other spike strip version that you would be able to deploy when driving. So like, someones tailgating you. Equip the spike hit the mouse button and bam!
Jammer: Stops all weapons. If you were on a cityRP the police wouldn't be able to arrest you or shoot a gun. Or if thats not possible it could just stop the spike and EMP. The jammer would be a one time use and you would only be able to hold ONE in your inventory.
Speed 'o' meter ray gun whatever you call it its name is like Radar Gun or something:
Equip the gun and shoot a vehicle, it will tell you how fast that vehicle is going. Simple. Good for Science! Not Aperture Science though!
I think I play too much Hot Pursuit...
I think this would be really cool for vehicle chases. I feel like this NEEDS to happen.
