Author Topic: Forum Posting Glitch  (Read 1665 times)

Whenever I make a long post here(and any other forum like this, I assume), when the scroll bar on the right side of the "Message:" box appears, if I click on some of the text near or at the bottom, the scroll bar in the "Message:" box goes up, either by just a few lines or back to the top. I can still preview, spell check, and post, but stuff at the bottom can't be edited. I've searched for a solution on the Internet and the BL Forums just in case, but have come up with nothing useful or relevant to my solving problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Yeah, I've had this problem too. I switched to Chrome and never saw it again.

I have this problem with IE7/8 as well. Not sure why it happens.

As of now, your best bet would either be switch to IE9/10 or
switch to Firefox or Chrome or whatever us starfishs use

Get IE9.

I don't have Windows 7.

This didn't happen with IE7 ever, but DeviantART is currently incompatable with IE7, so I can't use that.

Do you have windows xp?

internet explorer

lllooolll

no, totally get netfront. it doesn't have these glitches.  :P

Because I'm sick and Goddamn tired of all the fans for it having climaxs over it, and pushing it and Firefox like they're the Aryan Race of Internet Browsers with nothing more than "get it now or else I'll laugh at you for being stupid and old-fashioned!"

I refuse to be persuaded by such garbage arguments.

I am unlucking and bumping this because nobody has sent me any PMs about this stuff. Hopefully somebody can help me, and kindly keep any 'switch browsers' posts to themselves, because I'll accept none of it.

Switching browsers worked for me, however there is this tab in the bottom-right corner that can make the reply box bigger.

Chrome doesn't do this.  :cookieMonster:
