my oldest brother does weed, he is living with my younger brother, he does not pay rent, he hasnt done taxes for 3 years, he doesnt work when he has the oppurtunity, my whole family is sick of him and my brother seriously wants to kick him out. he constantly is in fights and high all the time.
is that a good life or what?

because you arent a "legal" citizen (in most aspects) untill you are a legal adult. till then you are like property of your parents. thus they take responsibility for everything you do/dont do.

they can go to jail if you break the law. they get fined if you skip school. so and so

but how does the weed have anything to do with him being a loser? you jump to the assumption that its the cause. not the millions of other things in his life that led up to how he lives now.

you refuse to acknowledge any possibility that he is just a loser that also smokes pot. you do this because you were told to fear marijuana. there is nothing chemically in pot that makes you a loser. that dont even make sense.

You can very easily not talk to your parents about it. If the kid gets reported someone is going to end up telling his parents but if the whole thing is kept silent he doesn't have to tell his parents at all.
