Author Topic: I have 600$  (Read 1489 times)

Im planning on buying a laptop and I kinda wanted an Acer Aspire.
It has 4gigs of RAM, 640 gig harddrive, i5 processor, and 2.66GHz

Im playing Games like: Minecraft, Blockland, Garrys Mod, and Counter Strike.
I looked around and Newegg seems like the place to go. On newegg the harddrive is 500gig and is 580$
On BestBuys site its 600$, but it comes with the 640? Which is the better option?

Also:Dont tell me its crap, I know that.

500gig. You'll never EVER use more than 500 gigs unless you have a richardload of music.

My dad has a 1TB hard drive.

Does 7k songs count?

Edit:Also, I used up all 500 on old laptop. I keep my music on passports and thumb drives.

My dad has a 1TB hard drive.

I have a 64gig SSD and a 500gig internal.

And then I have a 2TB HDD full of music.

I would suggest the 500 still. Plus, best buy is ew.

Holy balls in lava, how do you manage to buy all of that music?

I have a song that is 4 hours long, it's about 3gigs. All of my music is in FLAC format, which is the highest quality, and generally the largest possible (to my knowledge?) that is playable on home CD players/car CD players. 1TB is my self-composed music, local bands who give out free music, friends who compose, etc etc etc. 1TB I personally bought, a lot of it is ripped from vinyls, or from CD's that I bought, but probably around 700gigs is digital download. Probably around $900-$1000 in music accumulated over 17 years.

It's a mix I grabbed from a DJ at a club in Italy. I believe it was called Club Roma in Florence or Rome, don't remember exactly.

C:\22.8gb/32.1gb used
D:\3.5gb/5.1gb

:c

My m11x has 160 gigs, soon to be upgraded to 500 so I can have more games.

I used about 444gigs and I have absolutely no music on my computer, I have over 250gb of steam games and about another 50 to still download
