RAM does not equal power
the reason consoles have so few ram is because they don't do multiple tasks at once that would require said ram
You are just reinforcing the fact that PC is better then consoles

And I never said RAM is what made the PC games run better, you also have to consider

CPU
GPU
Temperature
RAM (As mentioned before)
Output
bit type (64, 86)

I don't think 86 is a bit type. Could be wrong.

only 32 and 64 i think

or whats the difference

Huh, I'm wrong. I thought it was an exponent of two, always.

Incase you guys didnt know...

86=32

64=64

Idk why they chose the name "32" or "86" bit, but all I know is that 64 is literately twice as quick in processing against a 86 bit.

shocklink is completely wrong. 32 bit or 64 bit does not effect processing speed in any way. it effects how much memory the OS can access. 32 bit has 2^32 address spaces for memory, which equals a bit over 4 billion or 4GB of memory. 64 bit has... more ;)

and it's not called "86 bit". it's called 32 bit. 32 bit = x86, 64 bit = x64. i don't know why 32 bit isnt x32 but whatever.

i played this game before on the PS3.

it was pretty good, good graphics, good speed, good gameplay,

whats not good about it?

the nudity? i mean who would leave a dead body naked?

Yes it does. Not necessarily double the speed but anything designed to take advantage of the wider bus widths will see a performance gain over a 32bit implementation.

x86 is the 32 bit processor instruction set name and x86-64 is the 64 bit extension.

The Xbox 360 has the equivalent GPU power of a desktop Geforce 7600 (or something in that range) and the PS3 isn't much better. The Xbox 360 is six years old at this point, besides a few minor upgrades over time the hardware is mostly the same level as it was at launch. Consoles can't be equiped with state of the art hardware because they wouldn't be able to be sold at a comfortable price point.

That said, I'll probably get this game for the PS3 at some point if it hasn't been released on the PC yet.

I don't know if you know this, but I hope you have the newer models (beyond phat) of the PS3 because they tend to overheat.

Ya I've heard that. I've got an old fatty model and a new slim one too.

The reason this and RDR aren't on the PC is because the PC cannot handle this game, literally.

Oh god, I lol'd.

Well that summed up what I ment, thanks for cleaning my message up :P lol

meh otis was more correct than me

All he did was reinforce my/our main message:
