I think it would be a good idea to have the ability to get a new authentication key and make the old one invalid/not work. I think the would be useful if someone steals your authentication key. You can renew it, and the authentication key the stealer has would not work anymore, that way you can play Blockland again without someone playing on your account. This would also be useful if you want to lend someone your Blockland authentication key temporarily, and once you want it back, you can renew it and he won't be able to use it anymore.
To put it simple, it would be like when your bank card gets lost/stolen, they renew it and disable the old one.
