Author Topic: I've lost my Sims 2 disk. (FOUND)  (Read 10966 times)

I can't find Electronic Arts in the SOFTWARE folder.

Did you uninstall it at any point? That'd be the only reason I can think of it not being there...

No. It's still on my computer. I just don't have the disk to play it.

But, I have Sims 2 Double Deluxe, not just Sims 2, I'm not sure if this'll help, though.
Because they're basically the same, except TS2DD has an expansion pack and a stuff pack already in it.

If you have all of those installed surely you would have an Electronic Arts folder in your registry...?

I have an "EA Games" folder in my documents. And I use Windows 7.

I don't know if this matters at all but, I don't know.

I just got a copy of Sims 2 at a Garage sale for $1.

Whoa.

I jelly.

If you registered it with EA you will be able to download it via the EA download manager without the need for a key.

I'm sure you've thought of downloading it but I should mention that it's still illegal even though you own the game

It's already download into my computer.

But it's needs the disk to play, I'm hoping if I find the key I can register it on Steam and play it without having to use a disk.

Whoa.

I jelly.
It's cheap in uk too, I saw sims 2 and all it's expansions for £2 each in a shop.

It's already download into my computer.

But it's needs the disk to play,
That's it? Get a No CD crack.

If you get one from a reliable source, there's no risk.

Is it completely legal?

I've always been worried about that kind of stuff.

If you own the game, yes.
