Is it
    6
2(1+2)

or

6 (1+2)
2

And on the second one the (1+2) is separate from the 6/2.

It could be either 1 or 9 and I'm confused on which because of the way you worded it.

6 or 2   multiplied by the equal of 1 + 2
You can reduce the 6 over 2 to 3 and multiply by the equal of 1+2 = 3 Bam 9

You can reduce the 6 over 2 to 3 and multiply it by 3 Bam 6

9 = E x E

This still can't math properly.

9 = E x E

This still can't math properly.
Of course E = 3

E = MC2

He had it right, Einstein failed at math.

9, anyone that's been in elementary or middle school should know this.

that makes you look like a douche and I'm from the UK

30If it was 6 over 2 you would still reduce it to 3 over 1 = 3   3*3 equals 9
    6      then it would be
2(1+2)

    3          which would be
(1+2)

   3            which is 1
   3

Aw hell not this mindforget question again.

It's one for me. Because I multiply first before dividing.

Actually, littledude's post sums it up.

WAIT NO

    6      then it would be
2(1+2)

    6          which would be
2(3)

   6            which is 1
   6

That's how I did it.

My mother proved me wrong, it's 9 ;-;
This is why I hate these kinds of questions.
