Author Topic: Can MW3 live up to its sales with handicaps?  (Read 19401 times)

MW3 has the much bigger much dumber fanbase of ignorant "gamers".
fixed

Also, I'm planning on not buying MW3 since all the last two CoD games did was make me rage.

And I'm going to buy Elder Scrolls 5, and maybe Uncharted 3.

MW3 will suck because of hackers and screaming preteens

And gamer girls that cry when you are unfair. Then they think you only kill them because they are girls.

Not to mention Minecraft is being released 11/11/11, but I doubt it will have much hype besides the already existing fans.

Elder scrolls 5 comes out 11/11/11

Uncharted 3 11/1/11

Yeah Minecraft picked the worst time to release their game.

I don't know Tony, Minecraft has quite a large amount of hype.

But yeah, Notch could have picked a better period of time to release it in.

It can't compete against three major titles during the same time period.

I'm pretty sure Skyrim claimed 11/11/11 first why are other games trying to steal the awesome date.

i think BF3 will take any of those slots.

It's also already sold more copies than both games combined.

The point here is that you seem to think Minecraft isn't going to sell well because the news of it's release is going to be blown over by two major releases, but it's already released and has already a sold a bunch of copies. The 11/11/11 date basically means about as much as google pulling the beta tag off of gmail. You can go here and see a list of PC games minecraft has sold more copies than yourself. It's sold more copies than Counter-Strike: Source did from it's release in 2004 until 2008, although that's only counting sales in stores.
