Author Topic: Can MW3 live up to its sales with handicaps?  (Read 19152 times)

batlefuld 3 copyed mw2 becuz mw2 had guns fist.

obvuoisly

I don't know why you people whining about CoD. They're actually very good games.

I plan to buy Brink, MW3, Battlefield 3, and Skyrim (HOLY MOTHER OF GOD SKYRIM I AM EJACULATING AS I TYPE THIS. IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE)

What's wrong with Mw3?

I love how you all hate on any CoD game when a majority of the reasons you hate them are because they are solely part of the Call of Duty franchise.

Why does it bother you so much that millions of people get enjoyment out of a game you dislike? Why must you stuff your own opinions and make topics about it every time it comes into a conversation?

Does a game that gets GoTY that you dislike really annoy you to the point where you have to rant about it every possible second? Like really, it's winning because it's fan base is so widely renowned for being one of the largest. I understand thinking another game should win an award versus another, but really must you go through all this just to state an opinion.

Play the games you like and don't play the games you dislike, nothing more is asked of you.

This.

I plan on buying Gears 3, MW3 and ES:5, and I will enjoy them all.

MW3 reminds me so much of CoD4 that I really want it.
But I still am looking forward to ES5 more than this.

It's not the game I hate, it's the community, but I will still be a console cigarette for several reasons.

So i'm handicapped because I buy a game that other people like because i like that genre of games and not other games that are more set to being "adventure"?

no.

Even though I haven't played Uncharted 2 or Oblivion (i'd buy them if i had extra money though) or are looking forward to the sequels, i still think you shouldn't be bashing COD because everyone likes it.

COD is like ROBLOX: good game, bad community.

i quite liked mw2, it's story was exiting albeit it had some large plot holes, for instance, it never explains why Shepard killed ghost and roach, he kinda just did.
Read this, it should fill in everything you want to know. (pretty sure anyways)

I think you mean stuff game, horrible community.

Then why does call of duty get at least a 9 rating on IGN every time a new one comes out?
(I probably shouldn't have used roblox, but whatever.)

Everyone who says "durp CoD has a bad community" obviously does not understand how massive their fanbase is. Because they have a bigger fanbase, there is going to be a bigger chance of friends on it.

That's like if blockland was mainstream, millions would be complete idiots, but that isn't to say non-idiots wouldn't still play it.

I honestly don't encounter, on both Ps3 and xbox360, THAT many morons where i'd say "the community is terrible and everyone is a moron", because lots of people I meet on there are just playing a god damn game that they god damn enjoy. It's pretty common for people to talk about things and relate things to something they like a lot, so obviously that's why people do that stuff. Deal with it. You guys relate stuff to the internet and memes and stuff, yet if someone does it outside of the place you're used to seeing it (like in school or something), people go apestuff.

Once again, there are stuffloads of good people who play the game and are normal human beings with a normal IQ. Saying they have a bad community is stupid. In fact, most of the "good" community is just minding their own business having fun, so it's not like you'd ever notice them. All you like to notice is the idiots screaming in their mics and being asshats.

First of all Call of Duty is over rated, second of all IGN and other reviews are not exactly the most trustworthy when reviewing an over rated/over hyped game.

Just because something is over rated doesn't mean it's still not fun or anything. Honestly.
