Author Topic: My computer is probably about to die  (Read 1109 times)

So we've had this computer since 2004. It's always ran well except when it got viruses occasionally. But now it takes a long time to start (about a minute or two from when it says welcome) and constantly gives me blue screens. It also freezes a lot and flickers when i turn it on.

The thing that sucks is that my parents just realized my bro is going to collage in a few months so we don't have the money for a new one.

wat do?

Fap and sell jizz to slut for money for new computer.

Ccleaner, it helps bro. Try re formatting if it doesn't work.

This is a new anti virus. It's called webroot.

Any better ones?
Because i'd be chill with deleting everything off this computer, over 100GB of it i don't use because it was the family computer.

Ok cool. Also try doing "hijackthis" and theres a site where you post the log from hijackthis and the dude tells you what you should delete, you delete, some things are fixed. He really helped me out... ALOT. I couldnt even update until he helped me :)

EDIT: theres also a site that automatically tells you what to delete.

Try Ccleaner first, post results. Slow startup because you have so many startup programs.

Tom

DON'T use CCleaner's registry cleaner. There's a pretty big chance it will delete something you do need then your screwed.

IDK about that, i've used it once or twice didn't delete anything i needed(that i know of)

Download CCleaner run a regular clean-up.

Download Microsoft Security Essentials and do a full-scan overnight.

Download Avast! do a full scan.

Do a disc clean-up.

Do a disc defrag.

buy some of that canned oxygen stuff that you spray and clean out the inside of your computer, especially the CPU fan and the GPU fan.

if all else fails, re-format your hard-drive, if you need a tutorial on that;
