ONLIVE

What is it?
It's like steam for low end computers. You can play high end games such as AC:BH or Arkham Asylum with no downloads AT ALL and it runs perfectly. The only thing you need to play these games are an intergrated graphics card and an internet connection.

How does it work?
Basically what it does, is it streams a game for you, and when you press a button, it responds almost instantly. It's being run on another computer, but you're connecting to that computer over the internet. Everything you need to play is on that other computer.

Does it have multiplayer support?
Absolutely, and it's lag free because it's like one giant LAN party.

Where do I get it?
Onlive.com

I don't believe you. Screenshots please.

Do you have to pay for the games?

On-Live is cancer for those with bandwidth caps. Such as myself.

Are there free games?

No but for each game there's a 30 minute free trial.

The concept for cloud gaming is a great one, however the technology has not yet matured enough to allow the seamless gaming it promises.

I think I'll wait a few more years

Aiming and shooting is a nuisance as the mouse lag is quite noticeable. Otherwise a good concept and provides some fun, but nothing I'd pay for.

You just pay for the games you don't pay for on-live, but you do have to buy the games on on-live to play them on on-live.

I got amnesia dark descent for free

I got this code that you fill in when billing.

No but for each game there's a 30 minute free trial.
Most games, not all.

I like how they think people with bad computers will have really good bandwidth.
