All of them with the exception of maybe Heavy (and this can be changed depending on play style) require a pretty good amount of skill.

By this logic, and obviously, playing any class requires skill, you're not referring to the skill needed to play soldier when compared to that of the other classes.

Consider the weapons that most soldier's use:
Direct Hit
Liberty Launcher
Blackbox
(all the non-default ones)

It's extremely obvious that most people using these have no skill. dkamm65 at least uses the hardest rocket launcher.

I use a Strange stock RL, and OCCASIONALLY black box when I'm in a pub and there are no medics.

Bots have no idea how to medic.
