I've never seen an uber'd demoman in-game, lol. It's always heavies, pyros, and occasionally a soldier.

Demomen have the potential to take out enemy buildings just as fast or possibly even faster than other classes, especially if there's an Engineer hiding in the corner whacking stuff like his life depends on it (and it does). Unfortunately it seems like once the Demoman realizes that he's invulnerable, he forgets that he has a Stickybomb Launcher.

Somewhat related: Once I was a cloaked spy and a Medic came over to heal me while I was in an area heavily populated by enemies. I hate dumb Medics.

Speaking of dumb medics, I've had a pub enemy Medic uber me as a disguised Spy.
He realized his mistake when I didn't shoot and instead ubered the Engie next to him.

and I didn't request one or anything

I just logged onto steam and a group invited me
I was like, "Horey shat, someone actually wants me on their team."
