Yep, it's true. Here on the 3 day weekend, staying at my dad's apartment he has for work. Don't have any plans aside from seeing some family friends on sunday. Ideas? Anybody live here that wants to meet up?

I really don't have anything else to do, I'm just sitting here on the 40th floor...~~I'll post pics of the great view in the morning.~~

It's awesome, but the real thing is that it's a college city.
Meaning you can get student benefits at a bunch of restaurants, and get Cal paraphernalia anywhere. And CAL is the best public university in the US, so it's a good choice.

it's also a very pretty place. I've lived here my entire life, and my sister got Spring Admit at CAL, and she loves it. Now, technically I don't live in Berkeley, I live 10 minutes away in Albany, a tiny city to the east, But I could bus to Cal in like 20 minutes, so yeah.

But, you can't just say, "I want to go to CAL". You have to earn it. You need a great GPA and you need to ace 'dem SAT's, man.

i'm fairly confident i could get in. not 100% sure i want to go there but it is a great school, so its not a bad choice.

On the college note, I could never get into Berkeley. USC or SJSU or UCSD looks cool though.

No, I mean near San Francisco. Puget sound is not considered the bay area.
