What's it About?Battlefield Vietnam is, of course, about the War in Vietnam in the 60's. It is made by DICE, makers of 1942. So, In Battlefield: Vietnam, you fight in the deep jungles, city streets, or even in the air! This is also the sequel to Battlefield 1942. To me, it was the most fun I had ever had on a battlefield game.
What do you shoot, How do you shoot them, and what shoots you?In Vietnam, there are 4 Armies. The NVA, USA, Viet-cong, and the South Vietnamese. In a normal map, the USA will get Jets, Tanks, Jeeps, APCs, and even planes to their assualt. The NVA will get fewer vehicles, and they will rely on Infantry tactics. Iconic tools of destruction from the era include the AK-47, the Huey, and the M60, are just a taste of destruction.
How do can I Win and how can I loose?[/i]
Its simply, actually. You capture Control points, which spawn vehicles and allow access to spawn there. Their are different maps with different game modes but they all use Capture points for you to attack or defend. However, if your enemies ticket count, or respawn tickets, drops to zero, you win! which in vise versa, if you loose all of your Control points, you loose!
