Author Topic: Situation-sensitive Music  (Read 504 times)

Let's imagine this.
Peaceful music plays as you walk down the streets of Afganistan. Then suddenly music changes to a more alerted tone , warning you that an enemy is within 32 bricks of your vicinity (or he's far away and you spotted him). And when an enemy jumps into your view, the music changes into brutal/heavy/intense/action mode (provided he's within the radius) as you and your enemy exchange bullets. After a few seconds of your enemy dying, the music changes back into relaxation. Or, if it's you who got mutilated, the music becomes sad/morbid/both until you respawn, or the minigame resets. Then music is back to peaceful.

Could go with 2D music events.

I like this idea but you could do this with events.

No.
Don't give me this stuff please.
Uh...
As in there are no enemies within your vicinity.

I still don't know how you could do this, you would need a good scripter.

What are you talking about?

the rebellion vs corporation finale build/server/mod pack/thing has a system for this that i have set up using chrono's 2d music events as a base. it will probably not be released because it's built for specific songs.

good job you just refuted the two only ways to do anything. what the forget.

Cybertails had a good idea and then he got stupid again.

This is very possible.

I might try it out, it actually sounds kinda cool.

Might ruin stealth, though.
