It's only okay.

(Compared to AOE2 it sucks ass)

You start with an un-attackable home city, similar to AoE:3 and you build it up with challenges and gathering resources in small games. You can equip "items" which seem to be basically power-ups for different aspects of your civilization. These power-ups come into play once you do some versus online. It's free to play, with micro-transactions.

Not made by Ensemble it appears. Ensemble would be much better for this if they werent shut down.
