Every time I feel like it, I will be hosting a Terraria Server which I will be calling...

TERRARIA NATIONS

It's a server dedicated to making cities and waging wars!

Unfortunately, you need to join my Hamachi network. Here's the info for it:

Hamachi ID: Terraria Nations
Password: nations

Server IP: 5.243.156.207

Server Status: Offline

I still don't know what all this "Hamachi" thing is. Can someone please explain that to me?

And can you use your old characters or you need to make new ones?

Hamachi, basically for us, it makes it easier to host.

I would if there isn't many towns/cities/bases.

Aaaaand you should use a map viewer thing of the server but edit it to make sure its only shows the surface or around that layer.

Hamachi really isn't a complicated thing.
You go to Network, Join an existing network...
He's given the information needed to join the network, if you can't figure it out from there you've got issues.
