difficulty with short-term memory during effects and during periods of frequent use (Ranganathan M, D'Souza DC, Psychopharmacology, 2006)
I don't see that as a negative effect, so you can remember 5 objects at once instead of 7. I can't disprove it because that's true, but it's not really negative. Reading through your original post,
nausea, especially in combination with alcohol, some pharmaceuticals, or other psychoactives
This ones funny because cannabis is actually anti-nauseating.
In a collection of writings on medical marijuana by 45 researchers, a literature review on the medicinal uses of Cannabis and cannabinoids concluded that established uses include easing of nausea and vomiting, anorexia, and weight loss
coughing, asthma, upper respiratory problems
Caused by burning of organic material, not cannabis itself. Vape if you don't want this.
racing heart, agitation, feeling tense
Only problematic in high blood pressure cases, but marijuana lowers blood pressure so it really doesn't make a difference. Marijuana also helps you feel relaxed, so it's easy to get rid of feelings of tenseness and agitation.
mild to severe anxiety
Marijuana reduces anxiety, this one doesn't even make sense.
panic attacks in sensitive users or with very high doses (oral use increases risk of getting too much)
Don't smoke a lot or don't smoke if you're sensitive. This doesn't apply to most people.
headaches
Tension headaches are so common it's hard to pinpoint them to cannabis, and even if cannabis does cause them it's also a minor pain killer, so the pain is dulled. Not really negative either. At the most unpleasant.
dizziness, confusion
I'm pretty sure this is why a lot of people use it.
lightheadedness or fainting (in cases of lowered blood pressure)
Marijuana lowers blood pressure, if you already have low blood pressure it's not wise to ingest this drug. All drugs have certain scenarios where they should not be taken.
paranoid & anxious thoughts more frequent
An inconvenience.
possible psychological dependence on cannabis
The only even slightly real problem. Regardless, I've never heard of someone actually being psychologically addicted.
clumsiness, loss of coordination at high doses
Inconvenience, smoke less.
can precipitate or exacerbate latent or existing mental disorders
Doesn't apply to most people.
