The Republic of Dracpoville is a fledgling, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its burgeoning Pink Rhino population. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

Woo

What a gloriouse flag someone has in our region...

On other note, I became a WA member, I can represent for us if needed...

The Issue

A loose coalition of sartorially-challenged individuals known as "Let It All Hang Out" has called on the government to relax public nudity laws.

The Debate

"For too long, our bodies have been trapped in these prisons of cotton and polyester!" yelled protester Bill Falopian, while apparently developing a nasty case of sunburn. "We must repeal the puritanical laws that make public nudity a crime. My body--my choice to dangle!"

"I agree," mused sociology professor Jazz Jefferson. "But I don't think the protestors are going far enough. Public nudity shouldn't be an option: it should be compulsory. Nudity is highly liberating. And it would put that disgusting "Hooters" out of business once and for all."

"Whoa, whoa," says noted accountant Max Shiomi. "Are these people serious? The last thing I want to see when I'm out for a coffee is some lumbering, over-weight nudist coming down the sidewalk toward me. If people want to get naked, they can do it in the privacy of their own homes. Think of the children!"

why the forget did i get this?

i chose option 3, but why the forget is this even a problem?

Oh god I'm laughing my ass of reading these nation names.

I didn't respond to the e-mail yet. I should probably do that...

I wana represent Blockland considering I have been on the game longer then the majority of you guys

How long have you been on the game? You do have forum superiority, but the game itself? Cuz I've been with that for a couple years.

Just joined the game. SO far pretty interesting. What are the pros and cons of joining the Blockland area thing?

Pros:
You get to buddy up with 19 other blockland/nationstates players, and that's just plain fun.
The starter region sucks.

Cons:
IDK.

I'm in, Bulvarica.
EDIT:
The Dictatorship of Bulvarica is a fledgling, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its strong anti-business politics. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 5 million are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."
oh god lol

lolwut?

I propose that people who reside in The Land of Blockish Landscapes AND are in the WA should "endorse" each other. It's on their nation's page. Not clear on what it does yet, but I hear it's good stuff.

EDIT: Okay, endorsing someone is pretty much saying you like their policies, flag, or some other crap like that. Whoever in The Land of Blockish Landscapes has the most endorsements becomes the regional delegate, which, for the record, is a position Shocklink is vying for. The regional delegate has significant power in the region in which he/she resides, including kicking out other nations, set a password, etc. Note that to "endorse," you must be in both The Land of Blockish Landscapes (TLOBL) AND the World Assembly (WA).

EDIT II: Here's a similar site.
www.cybernations.net Yes, it is similar, but this one is much more elaborate/time consuming.

The Republic of Sythril is a fledgling, economically powerful nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The tiny government juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Law & Order, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 10%. A healthy private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Retail industries.

Punitive tariffs protect local industry, employers may fire workers without giving any reason, the mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, and the Gray Panther is a protected species. Crime is a serious problem. Sythril's national animal is the Gray Panther, and its currency is the Yew.

Sythril is ranked 2nd in The Land of Blockish Landscapes and 13,603rd in the world for Largest Retail Sector.

The Allied States of Vegzombia is a fledgling, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its burgeoning Dolphin population. Its hard-nosed population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government devotes most of its attentions to Religion & Spirituality, with areas such as Social Welfare and Education receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 31%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Gambling and Cheese Exports.

Harry Potter books are banned, meat-eating is frowned upon, military spending is on the increase, and the government is seen to favor Catholics. Crime is a problem. Vegzombia's national animal is the Dolphin, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Leaf.

Vegzombia is ranked 6th in The Land of Blockish Landscapes and 29,603rd in the world for Largest Retail Sector.

Boldness for emphasis.
