A good example is setting all bots in CS:S onto one team, and making them only able to use knives. It's left 4 strike maen.
Unfortunatley, if it's just you, you can only have 3 bots on the other team.

Bullstuff, I used to go on custom maps and put a stuffLOAD of bots on the other team against me, and I would get guns, but the bots would get knives only.

I also increased their health a lot to give it a more suspenseful zombie-like experience :)

I tried to do this and I edited a stuff load of scripts and stuff
but when one of my guys died the zombies just picked up the dropped guns

Which is why you need to make a better script edit.


I'm not a script-kiddie, but I got close enough to enjoy myself.

But holy forget I made the atmosphere creepy as stuff on accident

There's a set of options that stops bots from using certain guns.

How do you make it so you can have more bots?

I knew that before I went through the commentary.
I still went through the commentary on every Source game I own, though.

mp_autoteambalance 0
mp_limitteams 0

to add more bots type

bot_add (ct or t)

if there's too many bots I think you can say bot_kick (ct or t)

I'm trying those commands but it's still only 3 bots

Make sure you have sv_cheats on, and I think you have to restart a new round for it too work. It'll say something like mp_autoteambalance 0, changes next round or something, you can end the round early using round_end
