Alright, I'll have a go then.
When did you first consider yourself a squid?
Hush, Narkro. This is actually a valid question.
Back in the day, I seemed to subconsciously admire squids. I based my Neopets account on the word "squid", for example.
(My pets are currently starving, as I haven't logged on since 2003. mwararHAHRAHRHAHHHAHAH) The first time the name "Squideey" came into existence was when I initially created my own AIM account several years ago. My brother actually misspelled a variant of "Squidy", and added two e's. We laughed about it, then I decided to go with it. It seemed like the perfect alias to go by on the internet, since it was both unique and interesting. It took up to now to finally realize my admiration for squids, and now I'm a regular aficionado of these slippery cephalopods.
*EDIT*
Oh, you updated your question.
I've found through my own experience that roleplaying as a squid is fun. Added that it doesn't cause other forumgoers to attack me. I'm not entirely sure what's gratifying about it, actually.
Anyway, in all seriousness, Squideey isn't some immature idiot. I remember playing around with you in-game and being srsbsns with you. Disregard all the people who fail to acknowledge that you enjoy silliness and over-all making yourself happier and not being a total downer over being a serious person who looks at the bleakest points of all situations.
And for being able to consistently do this, I do applaud you.
Thank you. It's interesting that acting overly-happy all the time can actually be damaging to your mental health. I applaud you back, sir.
Why do kids like the sweet balanced meal of cinnamon toast crunch?
