Author Topic: Need a way to play music ingame  (Read 498 times)

So while I'm playing terraria I want a media player that sits on top and can hide and close and stuff like that.
Any ideas?

Uh...
Go to playlist.com, build your playlist.. make it play automatically if it does that.

I'm not really one for playlists lol
I'm thinking more like winamp but as an ingame overlay, like steam community

Oh, well I dunno :c

Use Grooveshark in the Steam browser.

That'll probably work, but I have all my mp3's local and I really don't want to use my pitiful bandwidth streaming music AND playing multiplayer

Then alt+tab out? Buy a keyboard with media controls? I dunno what to tell you.

Buy a keyboard with media controls?
That's what I did.  It's a PS/2 keyboard, but it still works great with the media buttons.  Then I just use Windows Media Player and all is right in Heaven.

at least i have a few ideas now

Yeah, I actually bought the cheapest keyboard I could find in Best Buy and it had pretty slick inline controls along the side. Media and stuff along the right next to my mouse and program controls/launcher stuff on the left, which I don't end up using much.

Works petty good. For a $15 generic brand keyboard, it hasn't disappointed me yet.
