Author Topic: High School Courses  (Read 1173 times)

I chose my high school courses and I need a lego forum's opinions on this. It'll go for one year in Grade 9, High School then I'll change to other courses. We had to choose 7 courses and 7 only. 4 main courses and 3 extras.

Class 1: Mandarin 1C
Class 2: Social Studies 1C
Class 3: Algebra and Geometry 2C
Class 4: English Literature I - Honors
Class 5: Computer Studies Technology 1C
Class 6: Drama 1C
Class 7: Science 1C

Is this good?

Drama... I wouldn't go with drama, personally.

My schedule for next year is (not in order)
English 3 college prep
GeometryB
Biology
Economic Design(1 sem.)
Buisiness law (1 sem.)
U.S. History

Drama... I wouldn't go with drama, personally.
I wouldn't go into actually but I got recommended for it due to my CSI script and acting :/

I'm about to fail 12th grade and not graduate. :cookieMonster:

Sounds like a good schedule, OP. I always liked Geometry more than Algebra...but it's still math, lol.

I love drama, it's fine taking it in school, but if there's a local theatre or community theatre, I suggest going there instead of taking up school credits.

As for my schedule next year, it's something like this:

Pre-Calculus
History/English Block
Personal Finance
Tech Assist
Weight Training
Environmental Science

Yay for Junior year...

I can't remember off hand exactly what my freshman classes are going to be, but I think they are pretty close to this.
Algebra 1
Language something or what not
Some kind of science
Spanish 1
physical education
study hall
art

(they are consistent all through the year, and my study hall is like second period :c)

Sorry for double post, but if you live almost any where in america you should take Spanish it really helps your resume.

I have to take honors biology this year as opposed to last year cause I had to make up Algebra in 9th grade because of my stupid as hell transition from Algebra level math 8th grade while being homeschooled to 8th grade Pre-Algebra without any placement testing at all.

Also, Physics is my only elective :C

Computer Studies Technology

I will be.

My schedule for next year is:

still not known. :(

Can you choose all your classes in high school? I'm not familiar with the american educational system.
In Norway, you have to finish "Videregående" (Advanced) School before going to the uni. You can choose a couple of classes, but most are predefined, depending on which program you choose. (Pre-Uni, Drama, Artisan, Nursery etc.)
