It's entirely possible that the chambers the Master Chief was in replaced/updated his suit (via Cortana)

Structural failure in a vacuum is possible, yes, but I had the impression systems maintaining the parts of what was left of the ship failed along with minor structural disconnections, causing it to begin exploding. Although that's pretty far for an atmosphere, maybe the gravity. Also, we can't be sure of that.
if its not after the chief went into cryo then the ship was probably still burning

That makes me think of Dead Space

Dead Space 2 was bad, apparently.

WOW I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE 343 STUDIOS LIVE UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS I HAD FOR BUNGIE OLOLOLOLOLOL.

It's better to believe it to be true instead of random jetpack and convenient floating weapons :u

I can, becuase I do.

This is the Halo franchise. I think they realize that if they do bad on this game, they won't sell the next two games, so they are putting their sweat and tears into the production of this. I mean, it's been 5 years since we've seen the Chief, and we all know that they were doing planning even in the times of pre-reach.

Master Chief is in Reach, so less than a year actually.

Wait... What?
When you say "In" reach do you mean secretly, or like he was just mentioned? Because he most certainly wasn't in the campaign or anything.

Also, it doesn't really matter if he was in reach or not, I meant they were planning Halo 4 practically a month after Halo 3.

He's an Easter Egg at the end of the game. During the cutscene where the pelican leaves and you see inside the Autumn, hold right on the brown townog sticks and it will scroll over to see Master Chief in his pod. They have directly stated that is him, and they didn't want to include him anymore than that and draw attention away from the actual story. Everyone knows it by now.

The Chief was performing a spacewalk mission above Reach on a destroyed space station. He lost Linda in the fight and sent her into the cryo chamber right next door to the one where John is vivified in Halo CE.

She was one of Spartan II's who survived and was secretly assisting John and the whole Human race on Earth in Halo 2.

There were more surviving spartan II's all over the galaxy but the ones who were in John 117's team are mostly dead and lost. Or secretly mentioned.
They were his childhood friends.

An easter egg doesn't count as an appearance, and what Anti-Block obviously meant was that it's been five years since we've seen the chief do anything new. Quit being such a literalist twit.

I love Halo for its secretive, deep storyline.
I still can't fathom why Cod kids still pester me about it. I guess they only like the online play specifically and don't appreciate the glory of the story line.

I want to cunt-punt them into puberty.

Just saying, sir. Just saying.
