OnVehicleTouch causes a lot of lag and is glitchy, just use Zone Events.

I have one working and it doesn't lag or glitch at all. :/

Really?

The one I have doesn't always detect the vehicle touching the brick I evented it with, and sometimes detects it a second or so after.

Zones are a lot better for vehicles.  Vehicles could bump ub and down on roads, this could be why it sometimes doesn't work.

The bigger problem is the detection for vehicles is hacky at best... or so I vaguely remember. People made hacky methods to detect it, I think.

The first version by Trigun worked using container searches, which could get laggy. I made and released a version that used hidden triggers, it worked absolutely perfectly until it was found that custom vehicles had their collision incorrectly setup so it didn't detect them like it should have.

ZoneEvents do not use raycasting.  Each zone consists of 1 Torque game engine Trigger and 1 Physical zone.  the Triggers in the zones have a 200ms refresh rate.

Who said they did?
