Author Topic: The Wii U  (Read 3369 times)

I probably won't be getting it unless they manage to have amazing games I'd want to play on it.

I'm perfectly happy with my Wii and its games.

this is stupid. you need the actual wii to use it, so it's not portable. it's like playing wii on an ipad basically. only more stupid.

1: Games forum.
2: Why did you steal an avatar? I had this a while ago. I just changed back.
3: Old news, in the E3 topic in Games forum.
4: It's cool. People are expecting them to expect more of us when I think they get our emotions. It is what it is, and it adds what it adds.

I'm going to call it the Cafe. forget the herpiderp name WEEOOEEEOOEEO I'M A POLICE CAR HAHAHAHA

NO.

I couldn't decide if this is cool or not at first but it seems pretty neat. Too bad its still a Wii.

There's also not much point.

They said it won't be portable, didn't you watch E3 while they were showing it?

SUDDENLY, A TAXI

It doesn't use the Wii, it's a new console. The guy did an interview with G4 where he outright stated all they wanted to focus on was the controller for the trailer. If you look in the background, there's a Wii-looking thing. But look up images online, it actually sort of looks like if a Wii and an Xbox had an ugly baby. It's dependent on the new console to function.

Well sorry. :/ Some other people took it... Wait, back then, were you the first?

Damn it Legodude, you stole my... Wait, no dude, he said it isn't portable.

I honestly cannot see this spelling out anything good for nintendo. I wouldn't be surprised if this system failed horribly.

well then, you need to by A NEW console to play on the ipad controller. that's like buying a ps3 because you need it to play on your psp.

 I don't think you get it;

It's supposed to enhance the console experience, not act as an entirely new gameplay experience.

For example, the controller's touch screen is used as inventory in an rpg game. The controller is not a new game, but it lets you play the console games in a new way.

When I pronounce it, I think of a childish fashion of making police sirens. An example some other users might know is Spongebob, the one where he's a maniac.

Their premise to make the trailer about the controller is dumb. Everything on that is powered by the console. It's like the inverse of those things on Gamecube to play SP games on the TV. In reality, it's much more powerful and the such. They just put far too much focus into one element of the system...

Seriously, it's not like that...

In fact, it's acting like the bottom screen of a DS.
