I've got a Yamaha acoustic, and it just sounds like a dying cow. As in, it's just awful. I need a new guitar, doesn't matter whether it's an acoustic/electric/hybrid, within a >$250 price range. Anyone with experience know a quality brand I could buy from?

No, because I know I'm playing the chords right.

Besides, other people have used my guitar and all agree it sucks.
And I mean people who have gone through 4+ guitars and been playing for 4+ years.

Talking to plants = helps them grow

Guitars are made out of wood which comes from trees. The same principle should apply to make the guitar work better.

Yeah man, no worries, I highly suggest you go to a local guitar store though, if you pick it up there then they'll hook you up with stuff. When I picked mine up from a local store (Brookdale Music) they gave me the guitar, a tuner, 2 packs of strings and a cleaning kit. :)

I got a baggy case, a stand, a bag of pics (every single which of them I have broken), 6 bags of strings, and an auto-tuner.

I've heard of Epiphone. Our school has them and they're pretty decent.
