Author Topic: RGB Animator  (Read 965 times)

Now before you go pissing of at me for no reason it would be cool to bring back the old RGB Animator if anyone remembers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwLS5uHV7p0 I ran across this and I miss the old RGB Animator. Please we really need this back into the game. After it was lost I was sad but now it doesn't even work at all because of blockland system changes

I don't get the purpose of it. Sure, RGB makes certain colors more vivid when it cycles.. why do we need some GUI to do it for us?

But.. this can be done without the mod. It just does it for you.

it doesn't work anymore because it isnt possible anymore

otto actually it is
explain to me how exactly it would work in script and i'll make it.

explain to me how i can change the RGB light and the fxDTSBrick coloring system myself so that i can do this.

I remember this I used to use it in Demo v7 all the time.

you saw the video otto im not saying for you to do it but if you want you can. This would be so cool to use again

I have no idea how this would be possible so I'm not going to try.

I have no idea what to do with the GUI but...
Three Layers: Red, Green, Blue
They are all black by default, when the lines are selected they turn their corresponding color. When lines in Layer 1 and 2 overlap, it makes it a new color, all three overlap, the line is white, etc.
I have no idea how to script this though. :s

you can't color bricks with RGB values and you can't really detect when a light is being shone on a brick as far as I know

You are making it more advanced then it really is.

Says the guy who doesn't know how it works.
