I get pritty pictures when ever i try to run blockland

I just tried that and all my graphics drivers are up-to-date but thanks got any other ideas

That kinda stuff usually points to old graphics drivers, or an old graphics card that cant run blockland.

what does dxDiag say?

Windows 98 is an operating system, not a computer.

Looks like 98. I can tell by the bar at the top.

The coloring and font plus the roundness of the font are what give it away that it's at least an XP.
Go get an XP, a 98, and change both to the classic theme.

I've never known somebody to update from 98 to 7..
I'm pretty sure nobody else would use 98 on a windows 7 either...
