Enough screenshots for one gun? -_-
The more, the merrier.
The model has an inconsistent level of detail. The tac rail has a stuff ton of polygons and the rest of the model is meh. Im willing to bet that there are more polys in the rail than the rest of the gun combined. Im not saying Im against high poly counts, because believe me Im not, but keep it consistent throughout the entire model.
This was based on a picture. There are
exactly as many ridges on both of the rails as there are on the picture. There is consistent detail, but you fail to realize that. Plus, how could I
possibly reduce the polygon count of what is
supposed to be a lot?
Too many flat surfaces, not enough colors. Bevel stuff more and add things like bolts and such to give it a better look. Add more color differences, I see three different colors total, and that's counting the hands. Things look better with a good amount of contrast.
- Would you like for me to add those god-forsaken smooth faces?
- Two colors.
- It doesn't look very detaily because you didn't take the time to look at the gun. The front grip has an interior, as does the upper receiver. On the left of the receiver is some more detail, which you're looking for, but didn't realize, because of Blockland's insensitive lighting.
- Above bullet. There's bolts on the side. Beveling isn't something that should be done often in Blockland, although I did it around 25 times for this model.
- I started making this gun with the thought of the OSR, which, if I remember correctly, is only 2-3 colors as well. It just contrasts more because of the way its faces are. They're mostly diagonal, while mine simply stay left, up, right, and down.
Also. Either the hand grips the front of the gun too far forward, or the gun itself is way too long. Also, the hands look like they're tiny compared to the size they should be on the minifig.
I believe it's the former. Also, I had to scale it down in the exporter, which kept me from being able to individually scale each object. The hands were scaled down as well in the process, so they're about 75% the size of a regular hand. Not
nearly as tiny as it could potentially get, though.
I'm starting to get bothered by all the critique I'm receiving. If you think you can do any better, PM me and you can have the loving .blend files.
3/5 Because there are some bugs!

ARE
YOU
SERIOUS?if you're talking about the goddamn hands then sure it's a legit complaint but i
swear if you're addressing the
already fixed small item model and clipping i really don't know what more i can loving do to get you to understand
