Elona is a freeware roguelike RPG game. Although development has stopped now, the game still has many features that can lead to hours of fun. I haven't played long, but I've played long enough to know cursed items are not fun things. Suggest me some stuff to add to the OP if you want, but beyond that you should look at the wiki for info. If I had to summarize, think Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode but more complete and more awesome. You can raid dungeons, buy property (badass), escort people, trade cargo, get ambushed by bandits, customize your house and even turn it into a mine, become a criminal, so many possibilities!

Lol, some turd named Bronze Cleric Cinnamon summoned demons and lightning hounds in his house and got killed a bunch by them.

Bump and also I went in a portal and found a building that had Fairies that don't harm you and they don't stop spawning. And when you killed one, you got a wish.
