Author Topic: I'm getting eaten alive by rabid ticks.  (Read 3071 times)

Its summer, ok. Where I live, in the summer, ticks are everywhere. Ok, I went to the Drive-In and saw some movies. I sat outside on a wooden chair infront of the Concession Stand. I felt ticks crawling on me so I flicked them off, I wasn't itching as much as I am now. Suddenly today I went to take a dump and I saw tick bites all across my legs, my ass, and my feet. I also had like 6 on my precious T-Bags. I can't go to sleep at all and whenever I sit down my ass hurts from the bites on it.

Ok for people who didn't listen as well, I have tick bites on me. Not actual ticks sucking on my skin to death.

Had a tick before.

I ripped it off.

I always imagine ticks as those things that bite you and then never let go until you touch them with a burning match head.

So they just bite you and jump right off there?

I don't think that's possible.

Lol, I have to take a hose before they snack on me. If I go outside for 3 seconds I will have 20 on me.

Are ticks the bugs that give you lymes(sp?) disease?

:o

Yes its possible.

Ticks just bite you and suck your blood until they get fat. When they get fat, they just stay there, with their nasty mouth sticking in your skin. Usually ticks don't get fat on humans because we notice them before they even suck on you for a little bit.

Deer Ticks

That what was biting me too. Those just bite you and come right off. Thing is, for some weird reason. The Deer Ticks here don't give you Lyme Disease. We had a check-up and nothing came up for it.

I was always told that if you get bit by one and try to pull it off, its head will break off of its body and be left in your skin.

That happens rarely. Like when they resist of coming off.

That's what I've been told as well

Keep getting checked for it frequently.  It's a lot easier to get rid of it in early stages.  My mom is suffering from late stage Lyme disease and has to undergo lots of medication and most days can't even get out of bed.
